Our Story

A shared journey, a shared work ethic

We are Layla and Sergio — a couple from Spain who chose to leave everything behind to build something new. After selling our home in Valencia, we spent two transformative years in Calgary, Canada, where we worked in property care, horticulture, and home services for some of the city's most demanding private clients.

We have since relocated to Switzerland — a deliberate choice, a long-term commitment. With no home to return to in Spain, our future is here. We bring with us work ethic forged in −40°C winters, a proven track record of trust and care, and a genuine desire to serve guests at the highest level.

For two full years we managed private luxury homes in Calgary — one of Canada's coldest cities. Seven-month winters, temperatures reaching −40°C, and not a single missed obligation. Our clients trusted us completely, and many remain close friends today.

Crisis arrived. We stayed.

Commissioned to care for a private villa in the Caribbean for a full month, we encountered something no one expected: a hurricane made landfall during our stay. We kept calm, secured the property, protected the vehicles and pets, and managed the situation from start to finish without escalating to the owner.

We did not arrive in Switzerland by accident. We sold our home, crossed a continent, and chose this country for the long term. A hotel investing in us is investing in people who are not going anywhere.

Layla handles guest communication, reservations, and multilingual service. Sergio handles facilities, physical operations, and logistics. Together, one accommodation unit supports two very different and very valuable roles.
